What this is
One organisation, building the things that were missing.
Diverse Solutions Canopy is the parent body behind DysPhilter and every app beside it. Each pillar answers a different part of one life: how you are spoken to, where you live, what you can eat, how you learn, what you can earn, and where you can go without being asked to perform.
Every one of them is built to the same standard, written down, and published. That is the whole argument: not a collection of apps, but one floor that does not drop depending on which door you walk through.
- A UK social enterprise. Every pillar is built to the same written standard.
- Founded and designed by one person, from lived experience, not adapted from a neurotypical product.
- Eleven pillars: communication, housing, money, learning, sound, food, media, events, retail and a grant fund.
- DysPhilter, the first product, is approved for the App Store and Google Play.
The ecosystem
Eleven doors, one set of rules.
Each pillar is its own product with its own people and its own voice. What they share is the standard underneath: the same protections, the same reading tools, the same refusal to extract from anyone.
DysPhilter®
The engine, and the first product. Communication checked before it is read or sent, with evidence of harm kept that cannot be quietly deleted.
The appDiverse Digs™
Sensory-friendly housing and accessible living environments, matched to the person rather than the other way round.
Members sign inDiverse Digits™
Money and numbers made plain. Budgets, bills and paperwork held in a shape that does not blur or overwhelm.
Diverse Dynamis™
Alternative learning and mentorship for young people who were failed by, or excluded from, the room they were put in.
Diverse Doubles Café™
A digital café that never closes. Body doubling, quiet company and parallel play, with no booking and no disclosure.
Diverse and Deep™
Sound held safely. Focus streams, sensory-safe listening and music mentorship, with every level predictable and opt-in.
ListenDiverse Diets™
Sensory nutrition. Safe foods noted by brand and texture, and adaptive plans for the days that fall apart.
Diverse & Disney™
Film and television indexed by how much noise and visual intensity it carries, so a hard evening is not a gamble.
Diverse Designs™
Sensory retail. Tactile clothing, soft furnishings and small objects, chosen for how they feel and never for how they look on a model.
Diverse Gigs™
Low-sensory events, gigs and gatherings, with the room conditions stated before anyone buys a ticket.
The Resonance Fund™
The grant pot. Funded places, equipment and music training for people who could never self-fund a way in.
Building means it exists and is being finished, not that it is promised. Nothing here is announced as live before a person can actually use it.
Eleven products only mean something if the same care is underneath all of them.
The One Standard
It is not added to an app. It is part of the making of it.
Every Canopy pillar is built on one written standard for reading, accessibility, communication protection and safeguarding. It is not a compliance checklist bolted on at the end: it is a design element of the creation itself, and it is the same in every door.
Settings follow the person, not the app.
Reading profiles, text size, night mode, calm view and the reading layers are the person's, and they arrive with them at every door.
Nothing a person depends on disappears.
Walk from one pillar to another and no support is quietly removed. The floor is the same everywhere.
The words never change by diagnosis.
Dyslexia changes spacing and structure, never the words. The full, adult, unsimplified text stays available to everyone.
The engine drafts. The person holds the pen.
Nothing sends, blocks or rewrites on its own. Every protection ends in a human choice.
No palette is imposed.
The standard governs behaviour, not branding. Each pillar keeps its own design; the care underneath is identical.
One app. Three doors.
DysPhilter runs on iPhone, on Android and in any browser, with one account and the same settings everywhere. It is approved for the App Store and Google Play, and built to work in the hand rather than only on a desk.
Recognition
The Worthy One Hundred.
In twenty twenty six, WorthMinds Magazine named founder Ros Millett one of its Worthy One Hundred: leaders shaping a more inclusive future, recognised for designing systems that adapt to people rather than asking people to adapt to systems.
The feature carried the principle the whole Canopy is built on. The world is poorly designed, not the brain.

The founder
Ros Millett.
Everything under this canopy was designed by the person the systems kept missing. Not a consultancy brief, not a policy exercise: a set of tools built because the alternatives did not exist when they were needed.
The forward work is about shifting the standard itself: papers and frameworks that map neuro-inclusion to the UNDP Digital Inclusion Playbook, to UK safeguarding duties and to the accessibility law organisations already have to meet.
Ros Millett is the founder and CEO of Diverse Solutions Canopy, a UK social enterprise building technology for the people mainstream design keeps missing. Named one of WorthMinds Magazine's Worthy One Hundred in 2026 for designing systems that adapt to people rather than the other way round, she is the creator of DysPhilter, a trauma-informed communication safety app for neurodivergent people that checks messages before they are read or sent, keeps evidence of harm that cannot be quietly deleted, and is approved for both the App Store and Google Play. Under the Canopy sit sister pillars spanning music, retail, digital skills, education and independent living, all built on one portable design standard. Ros's forward work takes that standard outward: policy and standards papers mapping neuro-inclusion to the UNDP Digital Inclusion Playbook and UK safeguarding law, arguing that digital inclusion means safe participation, not just access.
Partnerships, procurement and press.
If you are commissioning, funding, regulating or writing about any of this, the fastest route is a conversation. The standard, the evidence and the honest state of the build are all available.
