Last updated: 3 September 2026

These are the rules for using DysPhilter. They are written in plain words so you know where you stand.

At a glance

  • These are the rules for using DysPhilter, written in plain words.
  • You can use DysPhilter if you are at least sixteen.
  • DysPhilter is a support tool. It is not a solicitor, doctor, or therapist.
  • You are responsible for the meaning of what you choose to send.

Who can use DysPhilter

You can use DysPhilter if you are at least sixteen, or if a parent, carer, or trusted adult helps you if you are younger. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login safe. Tell us straight away if someone else gets access to your account. You agree to give us accurate information when you set up your account.

What DysPhilter does

DysPhilter is a communication accessibility platform. It filters, translates, and protects messages, and helps you keep evidence. It is a tool to support you. It is not a solicitor, doctor, or therapist, and it does not give professional legal or medical advice.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use DysPhilter to harm others, to break the law, or to try to access data that is not yours. You remain responsible for the meaning of what you choose to send. DysPhilter may mirror or change the tone of your words, but the meaning stays yours.

The Truth Vault and evidence

Sealed records in your Truth Vault are hashed and time-stamped. They are designed to be admissible under the Civil Evidence Act 1995, but we cannot promise a court will accept every record in every case. Evidence is provided as-is.

Payments and subscriptions

Some features are paid. If you take a subscription, you are charged the amount shown, on the cycle you choose. You can cancel at any time. Refunds, where due, follow the law of the United Kingdom. See our pricing page for current prices.

Enterprise and Work profiles

If your employer provides DysPhilter through an Enterprise plan, your employer is responsible for the work-side settings, including data retention. Your Personal Edition stays separate and private from your employer.

Our responsibility

We work hard to keep DysPhilter safe and working. We are responsible for losses we cause by breaking these terms or by being negligent, as far as the law allows. We are not responsible for things outside our control, or for the outcome of any legal matter you use DysPhilter evidence in.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make a big change, we will tell you before it takes effect. Keeping to use DysPhilter after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, unless the law says otherwise.
