DysPhilter®
The Communication Mirror
A clear, kind mirror for both sides of your messages — the one you're about to send, and the one that just reached you.
At a glance
- Works both ways: it holds the mirror up before you send, and again when a message reaches you.
- It names harmful patterns in plain words — guilt-trips, put-downs, control dressed as concern.
- It offers a pro-social way to say it — you decide whether to send that version or leave it. A harmful message is stopped before it goes.
- The Truth Vault saves a harmful message with the time and date, so it can't be deleted or changed later.
The first of its kind for Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria — and for anyone who's ever sent a message they wished they could take back, or read one that hurt.
How the Mirror works
Read
DysPhilter® works with you on the words and the context around them. If it is safe, it goes straight through.
Reframe
If it is harmful, the sender sees what was found, and is offered a pro-social way to say it instead.
Supports you
DysPhilter® names the pattern and helps you respond from a steady place.
Harm comes in different forms.
Open and mean
Said straight out. Cruel words, threats, or blame.
Quiet and sly
Hidden in polite words. A dig dressed up as care.
Silence
You share something hard, and get nothing back.
When you're sending
Write what you actually feel — raw and honest. The Mirror reads it before it leaves you.
DysPhilter® works with you on your message before it leaves you.
It shows how your words might land — the tone, the sting, anything that could hurt or make things worse.
It catches the patterns you can miss in the moment — the guilt-trip hiding in a 'sorry,' the blame that slips into 'you always,' the pressure that creeps into a request.
It offers a pro-social way to say what you mean — still holding your boundary, but landing softer.
You decide whether to send the pro-social version. A harmful message is stopped before it goes. No judgement — just a clear mirror.
Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria, autism, ADHD, and AuDHD — and anyone who wants their words to land without harm, even when the feeling underneath is hard.
When a message hurts
Bring the message to DysPhilter®. It helps you with it, and tells you in plain language what it's picked up on.
Paste it in, or forward it — a text, an email, a voice note. Something that hurt, or something you can't make sense of.
It names what it found — a guilt-trip, a put-down dressed as a joke, the silent treatment, concern that's really control. Named clearly, so you stop doubting yourself.
It shows the subtext — the pressure underneath the words.
It gives you a grounded way to respond, or a steady reason not to — instead of replying from the wound.
It names DARVO — Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender — when someone denies what happened, attacks you for raising it, then flips roles to make themselves the victim. The term was coined by psychologist Dr. Jennifer J. Freyd.
Voice notes too — DysPhilter® listens, writes down what was said, and shows you the pattern.
The Truth Vault™
A world-first. When a message reaches you, DysPhilter® can save a copy — with the time and date — so it can't be unsent or deleted later. Your proof, kept safe, that can be used in court.
How does it reach DysPhilter®?
No app can quietly read your private WhatsApp or texts. So you bring the message to DysPhilter® — you paste it in, or forward it. The second you do, DysPhilter® saves it with the time and date. Even if the sender then deletes it or takes it back, your saved copy stays.
What's coming: a DysPhilter® phone line
Right now, you bring the message to DysPhilter®. We are building a DysPhilter® phone line, so that one day harmful calls and messages can be caught before they reach you at all — not after.
The Strike System
If a sender keeps sending harmful messages after the Mirror has shown them, DysPhilter® steps in. The first time is a warning. The second time, contact is paused. Every try is saved — a clear record, if you ever need it.
A Fair Rule
The sender always chooses whether to send. But if the words are harmful, DysPhilter® stops them reaching you — the sender's choice never comes before your safety.
Reading an email
Paste in an email from your inbox — if there's one that's confused you, or you want support understanding it. DysPhilter® helps you with it and tells you, in plain English, what it's picked up on. Nothing connects to your inbox automatically, and no password is ever stored.
