Press angles

Six ready-made angles for covering DysPhilter®. Each one is factual, and each one comes from the product as it exists today.

Built from lived experience

At a Glance

  • DysPhilter® was built by Ros, a neurodistinct founder, after her own experience of harmful communication.
  • Every feature traces back to a real moment someone lived. None of it came from a boardroom.
  • Beta testers help shape the product. Their words are used only with their written permission.

Accessibility is the product

At a Glance

  • The platform is built on a WCAG 3.0 APCA colourblind-affirming palette. There is no red anywhere, and nothing is designed to read as an alarm.
  • Reading profiles (dyslexia, ease, soothe) change the words and the layout, not just the text size.
  • No badges, no streaks, no completion pressure. Calm notices and simple chimes only.

Evidence without a diagnosis

At a Glance

  • Protection and evidence work the same whether a person is formally diagnosed, self-identified, suspected, or awaiting assessment.
  • A harmful message is held as a tamper-evident record the moment it is stopped, before it can be unsent or deleted.
  • The record can become an evidence pack for a solicitor, the police, social services, or a tribunal.

The law is the spine, never the face

At a Glance

  • Every sealed record carries the real law of the country it was made in.
  • Live now: the UK, Ireland, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the EU, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, India, Singapore, the UAE, Israel, and Brazil.
  • Countries not yet mapped get an honest fallback. Law is never invented.
  • The screen always speaks in simple words. The law sits behind the record, not in front of the person.

Free for under-18s

At a Glance

  • The young people's edition is free for under-18s, funded by adults.
  • The launch is community-funded through crowdfunding, not venture capital.
  • Prices follow the reality of each country. Passes are 12 months, with locked Founding-rate renewals.
  • The structure is public and honest: a community interest company holds the protective assets, and a commercial company runs operations.

Institutions get reflected, not the employee

At a Glance

  • The enterprise edition puts an institution's own outbound messages through the mirror before they are sent.
  • Pattern reporting is anonymous and aggregate. A team is told about patterns, never about a person.
  • Workplace evidence packs are built for tribunals, the same way family-court packs work.

How to cover us

A few plain rules that keep coverage accurate and kind to the people the product protects.

  • First mention: DysPhilter®. After that: DysPhilter.
  • It is middleware, not a messenger. It sits beside the tools people already use.
  • It is being designed and built. No release date has been promised, so please do not attach one.
  • Say "neurodivergent" and "disabled" the way these communities say them. Avoid "special needs".
  • Use quotes from testers only with the person's written permission.
