Truth Vault™

Holds your evidence. Every record is sealed the moment it's written — if anyone tried to change it, the change would show. You own this vault. You see a shield and the prevented categories, never the raw content unless you choose to unlock it. Strike 1 — warning. Strike 2 — freeze. Further escalation — extended freeze.

At a glance

  • Every record is sealed the moment it is written — any later change would show.
  • You see a shield and the prevented categories. Raw content only through the three-stage access protocol.
  • Repeat senders are grouped together, so the pattern is visible.
  • Sealed records can be bundled into an Evidence Pack for the police, social services, or court.

Healing Journey

While active, raw content is inaccessible — not permanently. Turn it off when you have healed, and the three-stage access protocol applies again. Only the categories remain visible.

Sealed records

Nothing has been sealed yet. There is nothing here to read right now.

Build an Evidence Pack

Choose records from your vault, seal them together, and send them to the police, Youth Justice, social services, or the Home Office — to a named person. Every delivery is logged.

Support after what happened — Victim Support

If what is sealed here happened to you, you do not have to carry it alone. Victim Support helps anyone affected by crime — even if it was never reported, and however long ago it happened. It is free, independent, and confidential. Supportline: call 08 08 16 89 111 — free, any time, day or night. You can also chat online or email them from victimsupport.org.uk.

Truth Vault — Real-World FAQ

What it is

What is the Truth Vault?

The Truth Vault is a private, permanent record inside DysPhilter®. It saves proof of what happened to you. When DysPhilter® stops a harmful message before it's sent — the loud kind or the quiet kind — that message is saved to your vault, with its date and time. You can save things to your vault yourself, too. Every record is sealed the moment it's saved: if anyone tried to change it, the change would show. It's the first of its kind: your evidence cannot be deleted by a broken or stolen phone, by fear, or by anyone pressuring you to destroy it. It can be used in court. It's your evidence. It belongs to you.

Where it lives

Where does my evidence live?

On our secure systems, locked. The key that unlocks it belongs to you — not us, not anyone else. That's deliberate. If your phone is lost, stolen, or broken, your evidence is safe. Sign in from any device and your vault is there, exactly as you left it.

Who can read it

Can Ros or the DysPhilter® team read my vault?

No. You hold the key. We can't read your evidence, and we never see what's inside. That's the design: the person the vault protects is the only person who holds the key. We look after the safe. We never hold the key.

Deleting your vault

Can I delete my own vault?

Not in one tap, and there's a reason. The vault exists for people who may be pressured, threatened, or frightened. People under that kind of pressure delete things they later desperately need. Permanent deletion takes a pause and a steady-state check first — the same respect for your capacity we build into everything else. If you ask for full erasure, your request is looked at deliberately, and the fact you asked is recorded too.

If a child leaves

What happens if my child deletes their account?

A child or young person can't instantly delete their way out. Deletion goes through a careful route, with a trusted adult involved. If a young person tries to delete their account — especially out of fear — that attempt is recorded with the date and time. “Why did they need to leave at that moment?” is exactly the question a safeguarding adult may need to ask. Their evidence isn't lost. Their access can pause. The protection doesn't.

Trusted person

What if my trusted person becomes the problem, or moves on?

You can remove a trusted person at any time. The moment you do, their access ends, and the change is saved to your record. Relationships change. Social workers move to new jobs. Someone who was safe once isn't always safe later. Your vault is built for real life: your evidence stays yours, and who can see it is always your current decision.

Court use

Can my evidence be used in court?

Yes. Every record is sealed at the moment it's written. If anyone tried to change it, the seal breaks and the change shows. Your records carry their own dates and times, and they're admissible in UK courts under the Civil Evidence Act 1995. You never have to have read the content for it to count as evidence.

Sending evidence

How do I send my evidence to the police, Youth Justice, social services, or the Home Office?

You build an Evidence Pack. You choose which records go in. The pack is sealed so it can't be changed on the way. You choose where it goes — police, Youth Justice, a parole officer, social services, the Home Office — to a named person, and you confirm the send. Every delivery is logged, so you have proof of what was sent, when, and to whom. Nothing ever leaves your vault without your action. You're in control of your evidence from start to finish.

Not ready to look

What if I'm not ready to look at what's in my vault?

You don't have to. Raw content stays closed while your healing journey is active, and it only opens after a steady-state check and a support-person check. The evidence is kept safe for you, for whenever you choose. You never have to re-read harm to prove it happened.
